TESTIMONIALS
Dear Ms. Pressley:
My name is Christina Tugman and I attended the BBWnetwork Bash 2001 in Las Vegas this past weekend. I attended your seminar and was very impressed and energized by your story of success. You made me feel like I could do anything as long as I put my mind to it. I have always wanted to start my own magazine for women of color, but have really never had the confidence in myself to do so, but after hearing you and your story of determination I know that I can achieve success as well. I would like to know if you have any advice ot tips that could help me get started? I have this dream and I want it to become reality. I read this quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that said "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams". This quote and you have inspired me to go forward and to work hard toward my dream. I want to thank you so much and any advice that you could give me would be much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Christina Tugman

I just wanted to say that this convention was the best time
I have ever had. I was smiling from ear to ear. I loved it and I
learned so much.
It meant everything to me to be able to have my husband there with me to
share in the excitement (he really loved it).
This is the first thing like this convention that I have ever been a
part of and let me tell you I commend you for the hard work that you put
into it. I can't even imagine. I was just in awwweee of you and the
other motivational speakers the whole weekend. I really "feel"
EMPOWERED!
No one took me seriously before I left. They kind of just laughed at
the whole thing. But the knowledge, self-confidence and self-esteem
that I brought back with me really helped to change some minds. I have
my homework cut out for me to change some more (I know it
won't be easy).
Thank you so very much for having the strength and patience and
everything else you need to pull this off so beautifully year after
year.

I first want to thank you all for the opportunity to participate in a
pageant. Being a pageant contestant was a childhood dream that I've
kept secretly stowed away in the back of my mind for many years.
However, being that I have been "curvy" and "voluptuous" all of my life,
I never thought it would be possible. So once again, "Thank You for the
wonderful, life changing experience".
I pray God's blessings upon the great thing that you are doing for
curvy, voluptuous women all across America. If there is ever
anything I can do to assist you with your efforts, please feel free to
contact me.

Dear Delores,
Dear Oprah,
I know that you must receive millions of letters a day, but I think
that this is a very important issue that I would love to talk to you
about.
Recently, I was involved in the Plus USA pageant held here in Chicago,
IL. I learned so much about myself, and gained so much self confidence.
The pageant and convnetion could not have happened without the one lady,
who will forever be a role model in my eyes. Delores Pressely President
of Dimensions Plus. Delores is the most wonderful person, she is a
Passionate speaker, image/self-Esteem motivator, model agent and a
wonderful spokesperson. I cant stress enough to you, how this weekend
has changed my life forever.
Beautiful voulputous women from all over the united states came for this
wonderful weekend. Did you know that 1 in 8 eight year olds are
aneroxic? I want to get the word across that beautiful Vouluptious women
are here, and are here to stay. Its time that we change the minds of
society and we need to do it today. This is where I ask for your help.
Please help our dreams come true.
Thank you so much,
Allison K.
